Where is my heart throb of Karpagam and Amma Engae?

I heard she was no more at age 30s.  Felt so sad until I recently read she is actually alive and living in Mylapore – way away from the silver screen.   Nobody knows.  My next trip I will surely go in search of her!

Little boy VIMAL – still trying to find where this 1980 star disappeared!  My guess is he is from Tollywood.  His movie Amma Kaavali – in Thamizh it is was AMMA – *ing Saritha and Pratap.  It is definitely not the Vimal of  ‘Kalavani’.  Anyone has any idea?  The one above is Baby Rani of Kannae Paappa. Has 50 films as a child star (2 awards) her siblings are Farida and Shahid. Some of her dialogues still ring in my ears.  நல்லாவே இல்லை … repeats changes to நவ்வலே இல்லை!  So cute! Google says she is into politics now!

Speaking of dialogues how can anyone forget Tinku’s ‘நம்ம வேர வீட்டில் பொறந்திருக்கலாம்’ from KB’s super hit Azhagan, 1991.  Here are the 4 stars in that movie.  Tinku Vikranth (Vijay’s cousin) Sujitha and Robert (now a dance master)!  THEN and NOW!
